Remake a website you like, then make it yours
Remake is a free, open source tool by Ruben Hassid. You give Claude Code the link to a website you like, and it rebuilds a working copy on your own accounts, behind a password, hidden from Google.
The link: [github.com/rubenhassid1/remake](https://github.com/rubenhassid1/remake)
What you need
- Claude Code on your computer
- A free GitHub account and a free Vercel account
Step 1: Paste this into Claude Code
Change the link to the site you like. That's the whole prompt.
/goal Remake https://example.com with github.com/rubenhassid1/remake until its report says REMAKE COMPLETE, or stop after 100 turns.Step 2: Check the copy
When it's done, open your new site and add /_remake/ to the end of the address. Drag the slider to compare the original and your copy, screen by screen.
Step 3: Make it yours
Open /_remake/swap/. It lists every piece that still belongs to the original: words, photos, logos, fonts, colors and links. Then tell Claude:
Here are my photos (~/Desktop/photos), my logo and my About page. Make my remake mine. Before you go live
Use someone else's site as a starting layout only. The finished site should look and read like your business.
